Hong Kong Science Park
If you look for the most special and famous landmark in the park, the answer must be the "Charles K. Kao Auditorium", nicknamed the "Golden Egg". This building is actually a conference center for various meetings and events. It is also named in tribute to Professor Charles K. Kao, father of optical fiber, which shows praise for his achievements in the research and development of optical fiber technology bringing about revolutionary changes to modern communication technology. Although it mainly serves innovation and technology companies, the Science Park has diversified shops and restaurants. With the inside green scenery and the sea view of adjacent Tolo Harbour, the Park has become a good choice for holiday leisure.
